Hey everyone. So I am learning a lot this past few weeks and have more to go in the next few. So far I relearned the pen tool and drawing in Illustrator, then moved onto Photoshop and am learning how to paint in there and relearning the brush tool and how to best use that. I am also learning a lot about using layer properties and different styles to make my pictures better.

You may ask, why am I learning all of this in such a small time? Well, because my Senior Art show goes up in 3 weeks. My show changed so many times that now I am in a pinch to get all 6 of my panel sets done. O.O

However I am really pleased with the results of the 2 sets I do have done so far. I plan to post the pieces when I have completed all of them and actually have time to sit down and do it.

I got Poser 7, the first Poser I have ever owned and thank god it came with the reference manual. I finally figured out how to get my stuff into the Poser runtime and all the fun loading and parenting things. I'll post my first piece of art from there here in a few.

Poser is definately way different from DazStudio. It'll take lots of looking things up in the manual and practice to get things figured out but it is so worth it! I think the poser renders look better than my DazStudio ones. And I plan to look at the material room soon and experiment there eventually.

Anyways there's my update lol. Oh and I think I may start adding some photos of my cat, he's quite the weirdo and we have some interesting and cute pics of him.

OMG I finally broke down and bought a new computer!!!! I now have an IMac with a 20" screen, OMG the picture is soo great! After many hours of struggling with getting windows installed onto the IMac I got it on and working. Put DazStudio on first thing and transfered all of my content over, then went and bought like $100 worth of new things. LOL So I am back to working on my DAz pictures. I hope you'll continue to support me. ^^

I have decided to work on a Calendar project using some of my favorite fantasy pictures. I will also be doing more to add on to them. In fact I am hoping to get it done before it gets too far into August and will hopefully have all the way through Dec. 2009. That way I can print one out for myself.

Ooohhh and my cat had her kittens!! Two little tiger ones, a black and white one, and a black one that has the hint of tiger stripes.

In other news: I still plan on working on my characters, I've only got a few done so far. And hopefully I can also get back to some of my stories as well.

I now have almost everything I want for my Daz program and have been playing with it for a while. There are so many possiblities that it takes me hours to do one picture. However they are becoming better and more worth the time I am spending on them. I am also learning new things. Today I found a tutorial on how to do shadows in Daz ([link]) which is something that started to drive me crazy a few days ago. So now I get to play around with the lights and settings and shadows along with the characters I create.

I have also been trying to get inspired so that I could ork on one of my stories but I think what I am going to do is create my characters in Daz. I may put some of my stories on Daz and see if I can get some feedback as well, but that won't be for a little while.

I am also waiting, quite impatiently, for my outside cat to give birth to her kittens. She's been waddling around pregnant for over a month now and I can't wait to see if I can bring one of the kittens inside, of course it has to pass the inspection of the inside cat first which the outside cat obviously didn't. Hopefully Shadow, the inside cat, will decide that the kitten which will be tiny in comparison to her big bulk, is not a threat and let it inside.
